Santa Visits Scoil Bhríde!

This week at our Christmas assemblies, while we were all singing Christmas tunes together, an unexpected visitor showed up…none other than Santa Claus himself, accompanied by two of his elves! The Big Man stayed for a quick chat before heading off back to the North Pole again to continue getting ready for Christmas.

Also at Tuesday’s assembly we were entertained by Emily Curtis who performed the song ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ which was absolutely fantastic. Well done Emily! Thanks also to Múinteoir Liam who accompanied Emily on the guitar. You can see a picture below:

You may remember that back in October we celebrated Maths Week here in Scoil Bhríde. As part of Maths Week, children were encouraged to use the Mangahigh.com website at home. Five pupils from Scoil Bhríde were awarded medals from Mangahigh and these were presented at the assembly. The winners were Viktorija, Niall and Sophie from 5th Class and Rachel and Salwa from 6th Class. Well done to the medal winners and to all who took part in the Mangahigh challenges during Maths Week!
